Thermal barcode ribbons come in several basic types:
- Wax — Our TSC wax barcode ribbons are an affordable choice for general purpose barcode labels and indoor applications.
- Resin — Resin thermal transfer ribbons offer greater durability and resistance than wax ribbons and are suitable for barcode labels that will be exposed to more challenging conditions.
- Wax-Resin — For the greatest durability and resistance of all, choose wax-resin barcode ribbons. These are best for outdoor applications, chemical applications, and any application where exposures will be harsh and demanding.
